New Arrivals: Colorverse Colorvent Calendars Are Here! Plus NOLTY Notebooks

August 25, 2026

The Colorvent Calendar is Colorverse’s own take on an advent calendar, with 24 unique 15ml bottles. These sets are available now and limited, so be sure to order yours to ensure that you have it for the beginning of “Inkvent”/”Colorvent” season. After each year, Colorverse selects three inks to add to the regular lineup. Check out the 2024 Set and 2025 Set to get a sense of what’s inside. We were personally huge fans of the three choices from 2025, especially “Follow the Water” and “Erebus Crater”.

NOLTY Log-Type Asymmetry Notebooks

We are also happy to add to our lineup a wide array of notebooks from NOLTY, a Japanese brand known for their planners and other everyday tools. In addition to standard notebooks, we’ve also added the Log-Type Notebooks featuring their unique “Asymmetry” ruling, with alternating lined and dot pages.

Colorverse Colorvent Top 3 Erebus Crater and Follow the Water

The “Top 3” Selection from 2025.

Some of us will be attending the San Francisco Pen Show this weekend. The Nashville Shop will remain open Thursday and Friday from 1-6pm, and Saturday from 10am-4pm (Slightly reduced hours). Online orders will continue to be processed but shipping time for orders placed after Wednesday at noon will have a 3-5 business day fulfillment time as opposed to our typical 2-3 business days. As always, orders placed while we are away get a little something “extra” in them. Many thanks for your support!

Thursday Drops: A Whole Lotta Paper.... Wonderland222 Notebooks and Undated Planners, Yamamoto and More

August 20, 2026

Why did I go to Japan? Well, in addition to the “fun” aspect of the trip, I had business reasons, and they arrived over the weekend! In addition to a massive restock of Yamamoto Paper and the arrival of the first part of our Wonderland222 shipment, I received a ton of multi pens, gel pens, and mechanical pencils direct from Japan. These include an expanded selection of Uni Kuru Toga Mechanical Pencils, additional Pilot S20 mechanical pencils, and new Pilot 4+1 Multi Pens.

Yamamoto Paper Select Label Jumpaku Roll Paper

There are many more items that have been added or restocked that are not specifically listed below, including all of the NJK Long Point Pencil sharpeners, NOLTY notebooks and paper, Soolla Studio Pouches and more. New items will be added regularly in the coming months, so stay tuned!

In addition to shopping our online store, you can see these and more in our Nashville shop, which is open from 1-6pm Thursdays and Fridays, and from 10am-5pm on Saturdays.

  1. Wonderland222 Notebooks and Undated Planner Inserts. If you’re a fan of this past year’s Wonderland222 paper, which is a thin 52gsm paper they sourced as a substitute for Tomoe River, we have purchased a supply of those notebooks in both dot grid and grid/graph format. We also have slim A5 planner inserts. I have been using this paper for the past year in my planner and have been very happy with it.

  2. Yamamoto Select Premium Japanese Papers. We have a fresh shipment of various Japanese papers offered by Yamamoto, sold in packs of 50 A4 sheets. Yamamoto gets creative in sourcing some VERY rare papers for this collection, which now includes Tateyama, Meringue, and more.

  3. Yamamoto Paper Samplers. Looking to try three or more papers at once? These samplers each contain three pads of different sizes, grouped by characteristics such as eggshell, silky, or onionskin texture. New volumes are available for certain releases.

  4. Yamamoto Bullet Jotter Refill Pads. Bible-sized Jotter pads are back in stock in all variants, including Canopus. These pads can be used alone, but are designed to fit the Yamamoto Bullet Jotter. Many people use these in combination with a Bible-size 6-ring binder and punch holes in the paper.

  5. NOLTY PAGEM B6 Free Log Planners. These books feature excellent dot grid paper and can be used as an undated planner or a notebook. NOLTY is a Japanese brand that I’ve only recently discovered, and look forward to expanding our offerings soon.

  6. Pilot 4+1 Wood Multi Pens (New Colors!). The first pens from my Japan travels have arrived, and they include four gorgeous new releases in the Pilot 4+1 format. These pens feature the Acroball low-viscosity refills and are also compatible with the Uni Style Fit Gel Cartridge.

  7. Pilot ILMILY Nuance Black Gel Pens. These might be the answer to my quest for the best black-infused everyday gel pen. These dark gel pens were developed for the professional and student market, and feature seven subtle, understated colors in a .5mm tip size. Refills are also available.

  8. Uni Kuru Toga Wood Mechanical Pencils. My favorite Kuru Toga yet (and yes, that includes the Dive). The wood grip on these pencils is extremely comfortable and I love the look of the wood grain.

  9. Uni Kuru Toga Metal Mechanical Pencils. My second favorite Kuru Toga release, the Kuru Toga Metal features a textured anodized aluminum barrel in three darker colors.

  10. Pilot S20 Ballpoints and Mechanical Pencils (Including New Colors!). These classic Pilot ballpoints and mechanical pencils are back in stock, with the pencils now available in three additional colors: Black, Mahogany, and Natural Brown, to match the Legno 2+1 Multi Pens.

New Arrivals: More Uni Kuru Toga and Pilot Mechanical Pencils from Japan!

August 18, 2026

We received a large shipment of restocked Japanese favorites on Saturday, including unique mechanical pencils from Uni and Pilot! Some of these, like the Uni Kuru Toga Wood and Kuru Toga Metal, have made periodic appearances but consistent sourcing has been difficult. In addition to these higher-end models, we continue to carry more budget-friendly Kuru Toga options like the Alpha Gel Switch and the Kuru Toga KS. From Pilot, we have more of the excellent Pilot S20 mechanical pencil that is now available in five colors, as well as matching ballpoints (which only come in 2 colors right now, unfortunately). We continue to expand our lineup of mechanical pencils, with even more on order!

Come see these and others in our Nashville Shop this week. We are open from 1-6pm Thursday and Friday, and from 10am-5pm on Saturday. We are open 24/7 online!

Pilot S20 Mechanical Pencil in Five Colors

Like its multi-pen cousin, the Pilot Legno 2+1, the Pilot S20 Mechanical Pencil is available in five different finishes, including red, dark brown, black, brown, and mahogany.

Galen Leather x Nock Co Sinclair Leather Pen Case

Thursday Drops: Lamy Kuru-Togas, Lochby Field Sling Plus, Galen Leather and More!

August 13, 2026

We’re back from the DC Pen Show, fully loaded with new merchandise not just from the show but from recent summer trade shows and Japan! In addition to new Galen Leather items (including the Galen x Nock Co. Sinclair leather pen cases), we have Lamy x Uni Kuru Toga Mechanical pencils, the recently arrived Lochby Field Sling Plus, and more Laurett’s Waka Ebonite ballpoints and mechanical pencils.

Lamy x Uni Safari Mechanical Pencil Kuru Toga Inside

Yes, we have more of these in stock, in three different colors!

We enjoyed meeting everyone who came by the table in DC and visited with us this past weekend. For those who didn’t get to attend the show, we debuted two new colors of OnionBrand A5 Leather Notebook covers, and had a full array of Roterfaden Taschenbegleiters in A5 and A5 Slim sizes. Everything that remains is listed and available for sale both online and in the Nashville store.

The Nashville Store will be open normal hours Thursday and Friday from 1-6pm, and Saturday from 10am-5pm.

  1. Lamy Safari “Kuru Toga Inside” Mechanical Pencils. Lamy has released versions of its Safari mechanical pencils with a Kuru Toga mechanical pencil engine inside. The Kuru Toga mechanism rotates the lead as you write, keeping a sharp point.

  2. Galen Leather x Nock Co. Leather Sinclair Pen Cases. Earlier this year Galen released its collaboration with Nock Co., which included a Sinclair Pen Case in gorgeous cognac leather. The interior features handwoven Kutnu lining, a traditional Turkish fabric.

  3. OnionBrand A5 Notebooks in New Distressed Finishes. Over the weekend at the DC Pen Show, we showcased at our table the OnionBrand A5 notebooks in two new finishes: distressed versions of the Chestnut Reserve and Polished Saddle colors. These finishes are more matte and not as polished/glossy as the originals, which many people prefer.

  4. Laurett’s Waka Ebonite Ballpoints and Mechanical Pencils. One of my favorite takes on a classic pen format, the Laurett’s “Waka” series features knurled ebonite. We now have additional colors of the mechanical pencils to allow you to make a matching set.

  5. Lochby Field Sling Plus. Lochby’s larger version of its “Field Sling” bag is in-stock as of this morning, and is capable of holding a larger notebook or tablet. We also have stock of the standard Field Sling, which is just large enough to hold an A5 notebook and some everyday stationery.

  6. Leuchtturm1917 Bullet Journals Edition A5 Notebooks. Planner season is almost upon us, and while the release of dated books won’t start for another month or so, undated options are being restocked. We have more of the official Leuchtturm x Bullet Journal collaboration in four different colors.

  7. Leuchtturm1917 A4+ Master Classic Notebooks. Years ago I wrote a novel in one of these oversized Leuchtturm A4+ notebooks and loved it. These also work great as commonplace books and archive-style ledgers.

  8. Pilot Custom 823 Fountain Pens in Smoke and Amber. After a temporary backorder, we have additional stock of the Pilot Custom 823 Fountain Pens in the Smoke and Amber acrylics, including the popular fine and medium nibs.

  9. Galen Leather 3-pen and 5-pen Zippered Pen Cases. We took the opportunity to restock our Galen Leather pen cases in multiple colors. These three and five pen zippered cases are among our favorite classic leather pieces.

  10. Yamamoto Ro-Biki Note Passport Size Restock. We just received a large shipment of Ro-Biki paper from Japan, with many of the Museum Collection notebooks back in stock.

Nakabayashi T-Line Prime Paper Covers and Sizes

New Arrivals: Nakabayashi Logical T-Line Prime Paper, Plus a General Nakabayashi Restock!

August 11, 2026

Nakabayashi paper has taken off in recent years, with a lineup that includes multiple fountain pen friendly paper options in unique rulings at accessible price points. We’ve recently added Nakabayashi’s “T-Line” paper, which features a multi-lined ruling similar to Logical Prime, but with vertical guidelines that disappear in indirect light. The T-line layout offers much of the same functionality as the lined Logical Prime, only with greater visibility for those who don’t want to see the intermediate “spacing” portion of the ruling.

Viewed from above, you don’t see the interior guidelines.

We’ve also restocked on most other Nakabayashi papers, and in addition to Logical Prime, we’ve received more Logical Air and Yu-Sari. Please note that due to Nakabayashi paper being imported and currently very popular, not all size and ruling combinations may be available at any given time.

The Nashville Shop will be open this week normal hours, from 1-6pm on Thursday and Friday, and from 10am-5pm on Saturday. We are back from the D.C. Pen Show and getting caught up on shipping, so orders should return to normal fulfillment time this week. Many thanks!
